A tender mercy
This little guy, "Tigger", and his parents have been a tender mercy for us. They are our neighbors and we love them, we became friends shortly after they moved in. We have been blessed with the opportunity to babysit Tigger on many occasions, I watch him twice a week so his Mom can go to a class on campus. Tigger and his parents have helped us so much. I will talk about Tigger specifically, getting to know him and watching him grow and explore has helped us to heal and become excited to someday be parents.
Before Tigger and family moved in, we had a hard time... Both Joe and I are oldest children and what came with that is a natural love of kids and babies and many many opportunites to babysit and spend time with kids. But through our struggles with infertility we strayed from our roots, so much so that neither one of us held a baby for a year and a half. It hurt too much.
But slowly that changed and the biggest help with that came with Tigger, Tigger loves us! It feels so good, to have such a sweet little friend. We have had the chance to be excited and watch him grow and see all the stages he has gone through. We have been with him sick, happy, sad. We've watched him learn to roll over, scoot, army crawl, sit up, crawl, stand, and now he is learning how to walk. I have even taught him a couple of tricks. I feel like Tigger has helped us, and his parents too they are wonderful friends and we enjoy the times we get to see them.
I feel like Heavenly Father knew exactly what we needed and when, friends, opportunities, our calling, and many other things. We love our little friend Tigger and even the kids in our primary class they've all helped us in different ways as we worked our way through adoption paperwork and perpare for parenthood.

Adoption Business (pass along) card
This is the card I have designed so far... the other side will have a dazzling picture of us. I don't have the exact link to our adoption profile yet... and I want to have something on there that says something cute about us wanting to adopt... Any thoughts??!?

Advice?!
I was thinking that while I have a little more time on my hands I should make something to help us network for adoption. Since one way that adoption can come to us is through someone who knows someone and so on... I have two ideas, 1. a letter with pictures of us links to our adoption blog and our adoption profile, as well as the phone # for LDS Family services. 2. a business card with the same contact info on one side and a pretty picture of us on the other. or 3. do both!
We wanted to know what you thought, leave a comment or vote!!
Thanks!

Another Pretty and Adoption Update!!
Well things are going again on the adoption front. We met with our new Bishop last week, since we have a new Bishop we need a new recommendation, we have to have our current Bishop. So that was a great meeting and our Bishop said that he may need to visit our home and sit in on our primary class sometime to get to know us better and see our parenting skills (that's one of the questions he has to answer). So that is good, and we are all set up to do our background checks at the end of this week, just have to set up appointments. and then type up our birthmother letter and yea that is pretty much all we have left to do. Then we call the agency set up a time to turn in the paperwork and go over it and fix anything and set up the individual interviews and home visit.... holy cow!! We have had the paperwork for 6 months now.... it seems like a long time but we have been flying through it!!!

The Amazing Man I am married to...
Pill update: A week ago Joseph took his last pill. Amazing! And this Sunday we had our first mini fast together, (without medication), I can't fast more than one meal and Joe wasn't able to fast with his medication. It was a great experience. So far we've only seen improvement, Joe is doing well (except he gets mad when I tickle his feet, he has even more feeling in them) his balance is better, he has more energy, all in all he is doing great.
Besides this good news last month we were able to make a trip home to the Tri-Cities where Joe had a meet and greet-type interview with a service manager of a Lithia Motors Store... I drove him there and spent an hour and a half waiting for him (and going a little crazy!!) It was amazing!! A long interview, a wonderful thing, it went very well. Joe interviewed at the Lithia Ford, Joe doesn't like Fords (mostly) and the interviewer with shares this opinion, I find this humorous, but the man did say that he may hate the make of the car but he loves his job! This week he made contact with the man that gave the original job offer (and set up the interview), Joe came out with a smile after hanging up with him.... We are very optimistic, nothing set in stone..yet. :)
I just wanted to share some amazing news and say I have the best Hubby in the world, there is so much more I could say but that would be a really really long post! I love him and I am excited to walk with him at graduation in April and to be entering the real world in a few short months!!
